A Selfish Post
Things I do which makes me feel self-sufficient. Read: Things that I can do alone.
- Watching movies in cinema (alone). Especially foreign films which are critically acclaimed. Many people I know generally don't appreciate them so I enjoy them all by myself. Right now I am peeing in my pants that Sympathy for Lady Vengeance will be showing here soon and pissed off that A Wayward Cloud is censored.
- Shopping for clothes. Especially damn expensive ones. I love going to Club 21 boutiques when there are sales. Knowing that one day I will be decked up in Gucci and Armani makes me happy. Woo!
- Shopping for books (fiction/non-fiction/textbooks). Regular trips to Kinokuniya, NUS Co-op and Clementi Book Store are the highlights. FYI I collect physics textbooks. I also caress them once in a while.
- Do research on the net. Currently I am a mega-zoom digicam expert. I can name you all of them and tell you the pros and cons of each.
- Reading reviews (books, magazines, internet, etc.). Eg. books, cars, hi-fi, food, music, consumer electronics etc. A B&W speaker system is in my horizon.
- Watching a Formula1 race. It's damn exhilarating especially when Michael Schumacher wins. Knowing that one day I will be decked up in Gucci and Armani in MY Ferrari , makes me happy. Woo-hoo!
- Enjoying a good cocktail. Anything with tequila in it is good in my books. But give me any alcoholic drink and I will be contented.
- Believing that I can actually get into the University of Chicago and solving mathematical finance problems as my career.
With all those things I enjoy doing, I DON'T need anyone else.
Oh there was a USP bbq party the other day. It was pretty cool with quite a few famous USP people around. I love parties.
