So far I've drank tequila, vodka, rum, gin, bourbon and sake neat, and only tequila and sake tastes remotely drinkable. The rest... tastes like oil (not that I've tasted that though).

So tequila is ultimately my favourite poison of choice with sake coming a close second. I do like the herby taste of gin though.
