Oh I forgot. I got another obsession too. The new iPod video! Seriously can anyone don't like it?? Ok yes, SW doesnt. =PAnyway what's there not to like about it??
Pros:
- 0.5" larger screen compared to existing iPods.
- Both 30gig and 60gig (!) are thinner than existing 20gig iPods.
- It comes in black! Not the U2 black, but the Nano black. And the design is slightly different. The new one has a flatter face whereas the older ones are rounder. You really need to see the side profile to appreciate it. Go here to see it.
- It can bloody play video and the 60gig version is the same price as the old 60gig version. It remains to be seen though whether it can play my divx collection.
- ZILCH!

A lot of things on my mind lately. Relationships, studies, responsibilities, my future. Really so much to do yet I dont seem to be doing them.
Physics Nobel Prize this year for the field of quantum optics, which is a module which I am taking now. I feel thermal and coherent states are really interesting. Never thought of light in that way before.
Was chatting with W just now and were on the issue of how we admire people with traits which we dont have ourselves. She said a good bod, I said a smooth talker. As you can see, even this entry isnt smooth.
Pepper Lunch is now offering salmon meals for a limited period. I guess it's to test the local SG market. There's no sign of salmon at all at the official Jap website, which isn't surprising.
Today I thought of JL again. Must be the pink top. It has special meaning for me I guess. Wonder if she still remembers what I said bout it. She is getting more tanned.
七里香 is now on repeat mode on my Potty, it gets nicer and nicer with every playing. Saw the concert version playing the other day. Really nice to have a image to go with the song. The concert style is different from the studio recorded version as well.
There will be an Apple announcement next wk. Many speculated that it will be a video iPod, though a commentary from Macworld discrediting it sounds logical because Steve Jobs played down a portable video device just weeks ago. But hey u neva know what Apple is up to.
Downloaded a whole lotta stuff lately. Mostly old Jap cult movies. My collection is reaching 160 movies and perhaps 120 unwatched ones. Anyone up for a 1 month movie marathon of 4 movies per day? I promise not to screen all of Tsai Ming Liang
in 1 day.
Seriously, although I've been saying this umpteenth times, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is really my most anticipated movie of this year. I think its gonna show on 20th of this month.
SW will be missing the JFF this year. Personally I missed two shows which I wanted to catch as well as the free ones. I feel so awful. I should manage my time better. Wonder why she switched over to the dark side. Does it really provide solace?
Ok getting sleepy now, maybe becoz there's nothing more substantial to write anymore. Wonder whether KQ or even J will find this blog one day... Wonder if I will still be talking to them one year from now. Wonder when will I ever talk to JL again.
